  Iline Margaret Nelson, the daughter of Norman and Louise (Nelson) Nelson was born August 1, 1916 in Eagle Grove, Iowa. She was raised in Eagle Grove and graduated with the Eagle Grove High School Class of 1935. Iline worked for Emerson Farms, and on March 8, 1942, she was united in marriage to Patrick Murphy Sullivan at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove, where she began work as a homemaker. After marriage, the family lived in Woolstock, Vincent, and moved to Thor in 1977. She enjoyed cross stitch, knitting blankets, tying quilts at the Ullensvang Lutheran Church and baking for her children and grandchildren. Iline was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Catholic Daughters, and the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Iline died June 4, 2008 at the Marian Home in Fort Dodge, at the age of 91 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, Michael James and Joseph Michael and one sister, Dorothy Sherman. Survivors include her daughters Judy Schumacher (Gerald) of Clare, Margaret Behnkendorf (James) of Geneseo, Illinois and Becky Jo Vardaman (Everette) of Merril, Iowa; 6 grandchildren, 2 stepgrandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren, brother, Robert Nelson of Eagle Grove, sister, Ruth Eudy of Eagle Grove, sister, Esther Keith of Bakersfield, CA, brother Harold Nelson (Betty) of Lorton, VA, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. in Eagle Grove with Father Paul Lippstock and Father Tim Johnston, concelebrating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Eagle Grove. Visitation will be Friday 5 to 7 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove.
